Roadmap
What's being worked on
What's being built now, what's planned next, and what isn't happening. Requests from people using the app decide the order.
In progress
Being built now. These are the next things to ship.
Planned
Agreed and specified, not started. Order still moves.
Not planned
Requests that are not being built, so nobody waits.
In progress
Platform
Bug fixing
After the initial launch, the main focus is on stability and bug fixes.
Planned
Platform
Linux build
The same engine and the same verdict rules, running natively on Linux rather than through a compatibility layer.
Features
OpenSubtitles Integration
A way to search for and add subtitles within the app.
Automation
Native TMDB Support
We do plan to eventually have TMDB built into the app - not requiring a personal API key.
Automation
Library watch
Point it at a folder once. New files are scanned and queued as they land, still holding every change for review.
Platform
Docker Image
The same engine and the same verdict rules, running natively on Docker rather than through a compatibility layer.
Platform
MacOS
The same engine and the same verdict rules, running natively on MacOS.
Not planned
Out of scope
A hosted or cloud version
Your files stay on your machine. Uploading a library to be processed elsewhere is not something this app will do.
Out of scope
A media server of its own
It prepares files for Plex, Jellyfin and Emby. It does not try to replace them.
Out of scope
Editing the video itself
No trimming, cropping, filters or colour work. Plenty of tools do that already, and none of them do what this one does.
Requests are what reorder this board
Everything above started as someone describing a job they were doing by hand. The useful version of a request is not the feature you want, it is the thing you are working around and how often you hit it.
What helps most
01
The job you are doing by hand at the moment, in your own words.
02
How often you hit it. Once a month and once a day are different problems.
03
What you do instead today, even if the answer is that you give up.
Point it at one folder first
$15 a year or $59 once. Three devices included.
